3. Sharing data: We only share your address and phone number with our vetted trade partners (contractors) strictly for the purpose of completing the job you requested. We do not sell your data.
4. Payments: Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your card details.

Pillar 1: Heating & Boiler (The "Warmth" Check)
Performed by Gas Safe Engineer.1) Boiler Firing: Does it fire up correctly on demand?
2) Boiler Casing: Is the case secure and free from damage/corrosion?
3) Flue Condition: Visual check of the flue (internal & external) for integrity.
4) Flue Gas Analysis: Test efficiency and CO/CO2 ratios.
5) Safety Devices: Test flame failure device and overheat thermostat.
6) Gas Pressure: Check operating pressure at the meter.
7) System Pressure: Check boiler pressure gauge (is it 1.0–1.5 bar?).
8) Radiator Heat: Touch-test all radiators (Cold spots at bottom = sludge).
9) Radiator Valves: Check TRVs (thermostatic valves) are not seized.
10) Room Thermostat: Does the thermostat actually switch the heating off when satisfied?Pillar 2: Plumbing & Water (The "Leak" Check)
Performed by Plumbing Engineer.11. Internal Stopcock: Locate, tag, and test (Does it actually turn off?).
12. Kitchen Tap: Check for dripping (washers) and flow rate.
13. Kitchen Trap: Check waste pipe under sink for slow leaks.
14. Bathroom Taps: Check basin/bath taps for drips or stiffness.
15. Bathroom Waste: Visual check of trap/waste pipes for leaks.
16. Toilet Flush: Does it flush correctly? Does it refill quickly?
17. Toilet Overflow: Is the cistern running continuously into the pan?
18. Shower Sealant: Check silicone condition (peeling/black mould).
19. Shower Grout: Visual check for missing grout (water ingress risk).
20. Drainage: Run all taps—do sinks/baths drain at a normal speed?Pillar 3: Electrical & Safety (The "Visual Safety" Check)

22. RCD Test: Press the "Test" button—does it trip the power instantly?
23. Earth Bonding: Visual verification of earth cable on gas/water pipes.
24. Sockets: Visual check for cracks, thermal damage, or loose fittings.
25. Switches: Do lights turn on/off without crackling or delay?
26. Smoke Alarms: Check expiry date and press "Test" button.
27. CO Alarms: Check expiry date and press "Test" button.
28. Window Locks: Do key windows open/close and lock smoothly?
29. Door Locks: Check operation of main front/back door locks.
30. Fire Escape: Are main exit routes clear of obstruction?Pillar 4: Structural & External (The "Shell" Check)

32. Damp (Ceilings): Visual scan for brown stains (leaks from above).

35. Downpipes: Check for cracks or water staining on brickwork behind them.
36. Roof: Visual check (ground level) for slipped tiles or sagging.
37. Chimney: Visual check (ground level) for lean or pot damage.
38. Loft: Head-and-shoulders check for daylight (holes) or damp smell.
39. Brickwork: Visual check for spalled bricks or blown pointing.
40. Air Bricks: Are sub-floor vents clear of soil/debris?
